After Midler's High Priestess is beaten back in the depths of the Red Sea, the crusaders finally land in Egypt, DIO's home ground. Midler loses her will to fight once Jotaro smashes her teeth, and the group reaches Egypt. Their new ally Iggy wields The Fool, a Stand made of sand, but he is a lazy stray who seems useless. Then blind N'Doul attacks with Geb, a Stand of living water, striking from angles no eye can follow and turning the desert into a battlefield where sight means nothing. Avdol's flame and Iggy's sand finally bring him down, but N'Doul cuts his own throat rather than give up information, a chilling reminder of how deep DIO's hold on his servants runs. The remaining Egyptian Nine are already moving.
