Tamami Kobayashi's Stand, The Lock, feeds on guilt and hangs a heavy padlock on its victim's heart so he can milk them for cash. Tamami moves into Koichi's house to extort him, but under that pressure the egg the Arrow left inside Koichi hatches into Echoes, a Stand that plants sound-effect letters onto anything. Koichi beats Tamami with those letters and the extortionist instantly switches to flattery. Next comes Toshikazu Hazamada, whose Stand Surface is a wooden doll that copies a person's face and personality and impersonates Josuke. Josuke spots the fake through habits only he would know and flattens Hazamada.
